Her work in Life in Colour is the beautiful Within Stillness.

Ahead of the show opening, Slavica told us about exploring external and internal landscapes, seeing the unseen, and being inspired by sacredness in the ordinary.

How do you create your work?

"My work emerges spontaneously, and is created from inspiration gathered from experiences that have resonated deeply with in me. Internal and external landscapes are explored merging to create story and meaning."

Tell us about Within Stillness, your work in Life in Colour

"The work in the show is a glimpse into the undergrowth of the landscape - those things not obviously seen but exist. I am interested in the invisible worlds that are often never seen or shared."

What inspires you?

"I am inspired by culture, literature, and moments of shared experiences that create a sacredness in the ordinary."

What do you hope people feel when they see your work?

"Joy, and a emotive response that invites the viewer to look deeper."
