Pulse
MIA LAZARUS
Our first Tyger Project, Pulse by Mia Lazarus, is beginning to take shape at Tyger ahead of its official opening later this month.
Mia’s stunning large-scale abstract paintings are built through layers, gesture and repetition. Colour and mark are used to explore rhythm, movement and attention, inviting viewers to spend time noticing how the work unfolds up close.
Pulse officially opens on Saturday 21 February, with Mia joining us in the gallery for a meet the artist event. The show runs until Saturday 1 March.
We’re excited to welcome Jenny Blake back to Tyger for Edge of the Water, a relaxed, hands-on seascape painting workshop on Sunday 22 February.
Jenny is a much-loved landscape painter known for her brilliant use of light, movement and atmosphere. In this workshop, she’ll guide participants through her approach to painting the meeting point of land and sea, sharing practical techniques in a calm, supportive setting.
Suitable for all experience levels, Edge of the Water is a chance to slow down, experiment with colour and mark-making, and spend an afternoon painting alongside one of the region’s most respected artists.
Join us at the table from 1.30–3.30pm at Tyger Gallery. All materials are provided and places are limited.
