Christine Appleby is an established artist who is captivated by the inventive process and infinite possibilities within weaving.
Since graduating from the ANU School + Design in 2017, she has held three solo shows in Canberra and Orange, NSW. Christine was selected as a finalist for the 2021 Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize, receiving the Viewers’ Choice award.
In recent years, she has participated in several exhibition with the Networks Australia group at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery; Belconnen Art Centre, ACT; Australian National Capital Artist (ANCA) Gallery.
Separately she has exhibited with Gallery of Small Things and the Australian Design Centre.
