Our commitment
to community

Things really matter to us.

Things like supporting and helping to build the careers of artists. Things like contributing in a positive way to our community. Things like speaking up - loudly and proudly - about the essential role that the arts plays in society's economy and well-being.

Important things.

Because these important things matter to us, we've committed to giving away at least 50% of Tyger's profits to charities that support our community.

So when you buy art from Tyger, you not just doing something good for yourself, and not just supporting and encouraging an artist, but also doing good in the community.

The first funds raised out of gallery profits will go to a range of projects which benefit the community, starting with fundraising for audio-visual equipment for the Friends of the Liberty Theatre, and contributing to building a new shed for the amazing people at the Yass Valley Men’s Shed.

We’ve chosen the Men’s Shed and the Friends of the Liberty Theatre as our initial fundraising partners because of the vital role that both organisations play in supporting the community. We’re proud to be working with them.

Our commitment to charity doesn't come out of the pockets of artists. We keep our commissions as low as possible, so that we can put more money into the hands of artists, and do more good in our community.

These are the things that really matter to us.
