Ambience | Kathy Ready

Kathy Ready is an abstract oil painter. She studied at Curtin University in Perth, but is currently based in Auckland.

She uses the language of colour to uplift our everyday experience and connect with people in a meaningful way. Her works are emotive, rich and expressive; adding a splash of colour and life into our living spaces.

Colour is the driving force behind all of Kathys' paintings. She loves the fact that colour is so much more than just a visual experience. Rather a unique and universal language that has the power to convey feelings, ideas and narratives and evoke a range of emotions.

Kathy has been exhibiting in Australia, New Zealand and further abroad since 1996. Her work is held in numerous private collections, she has been a finalist in a number of New Zealand art awards and was commissioned by Hilton, Queenstown for site specific work.
