Moss, mist, fog, headlights | Lani Shea-An
A$400.00
33 x 22 cm | Acrylic and cardboard on wood | Unframed.
This piece is part of Tyger's opening exhibition, Bryter. Lani says: "This work was made for a group show at M16 Artspace in 2020 where each artist was given a simple pizza box to respond to. I was thinking about how the materiality of a pizza box could be manipulated to represent any number of things. I did not have a clear idea of the image I wanted to create, but instead used abstract painting processes and collage to respond to the structural forms of the pizza box and dried sheets of acrylic paint that I found in my studio. The final image remains abstract while suggesting areas of light and texture."
