Street trees | Lani Shea-An

A$350.00

30 x 19 cm | Acrylic, paper, paper towel on wood | Unframed.

This piece is part of Tyger's stockroom. Lani says: "In this work I experimented with textures that could resemble that of a tree. Allowing paper towel to crinkle and tear like branches and bark. Scratching paint and wood along thin strips to reference the straight, upward growing habit of a pencil pine. Alternating between thick and thin paint to flutter back and forth like leaves flickering in the wind."
