For as long as Valeska can remember, drawing and painting have been her most favourite things to do.

Combining her love of textiles and painting Valeska has sold her art for many years at handmade markets, primarily paintings on silk.

Upon graduating from ANU, Valeska was successful in winning a residency at Bundanon Homestead with the Boyd Trust in 1996. The residency influenced her so much it changed her practice completely to a total focus on painting and drawing.

Now Valeska paints with Acrylic and Oils and she loves to draw, especially with charcoal.
