Stephanie Creigh is an artist currently living in Tamworth, New South Wales, creating landscape artworks from home, and inspired by home.

Applying daubs of acrylic paint, offset by different mark-making created with the end of a paint brush, Stephanie loves to build an array of patterns and textures.

Recently, Stephanie has been experimenting with bright and vibrant colours, such as pinks, blues, oranges and blues.By applying light on dark and dark on light, her painting technique contributes to the rich tertiary colour palette and symbolises Australia’s varied landscape.

Stephanie's source of inspiration is the natural landscape from the places she visits - whether it be rural properties, sunsets, coastlines or of trees she sees passing by.

“My driving motivation for creating landscape artworks is to redefine our relationship with the land. By exaggerating the colours and shape of each landscape, my intention is to create a catalyst of emotion and to both elicit and exchange memories within the viewer.”
